Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery, 101 Queen St. N, Kitchener, ON

Feminine Harbor and The Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery present: The L.I.G.H.T. Stories. 4 women, of 4 different generations and 4 diverse cultural backgrounds, sharing real-life stories combined with beautiful live music. That’s the L.I.G.H.T. Stories: described as “The Vagina Monologues meets TED Talks, meets The Moth“. On Thursday, June 20th, our storytellers will share stories of Humanity with the audience. These stories reveal their journey into their bodies, rediscovering themselves as women through sexual experiences that are particular to them as women, such as their relationship with their womb and their bodies, childbirth, queerness, and transsexuality. Live music by Joni Nehrita. Doors open at 6:15 PM. The purchase of your ticket now includes a free-guided tour of The KW Art-Gallery's current exhibits, which starts at 6:30 PM. The LIGHT Stories will commence at 7PM sharp. General Admission -$20.00 Student - $10.00 Senior (60+) - $15.00
